An authentic design flows from your interests and passions so help us get to know everything you love. We’ll take a compilation of your style and our design ideas to develop the beginnings of a cohesive aesthetic for your day.

Budget Consideration & Guest List

Building an accurate guest list will help determine logistics and available offerings of our event experience within our financial boundaries. It also shapes the overall budget which helps us discern priorities and make confident decisions.

Foundational Vendor Selection

Let’s build the team! We’ll carefully choose the industry partners that best fit our vision from our preferred lists. These foundational vendors include our entertainment, our caterer, photographer, videographer, etc.

Design Presentation & Creative Vendor Selection

Our hope is that our design presentation makes you feel known and represented in the details provided. From there, we will implement that design with your creative vendors: rentals, stationery, cake, attire, etc.

Coordination & Scheduling

Now it’s time to shift to the logistical details of the wedding. Loading dock time requests, electrical output, extension cords, delivery times, bus shuttles, and a million other details make it to the master schedule.

Production & Instillation 

We work closely with your vendors the week and day of the wedding to ensure a smooth experience. Our couples have always found this to be most valuable as they are truly able to enjoy this great milestone knowing the production is in capable hands.

OPTION two

event design

For those that need a creative counterpart.

Most couples are not short on ideas but are unsure how to create a seamless, personalized final product. If you are comfortable creating the wedding foundation and need help crafting or honing the visual aesthetic, this is for you. 

We collaborate with you to help define a clear direction of the visual components of your wedding including rentals, table decor, floral, cake, stationery, floor plans and more. We then move into Event Management to ensure your vision is as flawless as it is functional on the day of the event.

OPTION three

event management

For those that need help crossing the finish line.

The perfect solution to organized couples who have planed and designed their wedding independently and are eager to hand it off to professional management. Sixty days prior, we’ll come along side to double check your work, advise on final logistics, create the master schedule. From there you rest easy knowing that our team is ready to carry you through the wedding day!

This service may not be retained more than six months in advance and requires that Meg Owen Events be the floral provider.

What about the blooms?

It’s our pleasure to design florals for clients using our planning services or as a stand alone service. We use our expert floral knowledge and experience to combine your color palette, seasonality, layout and financial parameters together to create a quote for luxurious blooms.

frequently asked questions

Are florals included in the price of any planning or design services? 

No, both design services (full planning and event design) are priced to reflect the planning and design work we create over the course of months before your wedding. It is always our preference to combine our custom quoted floral services with one of our planning or design packages as we believe it creates the most cohesive design and vision; however, floral can also be booked from a different industry professional or as a stand-alone option.

What does each service include specifically?

We have a document explaining each package in greater detail. This includes how many meetings we will have, what to expect, a list of both of our responsibilities, investment, etc. Upon a filled out contact form, we can gauge our availability and if available, will send our more detailed PDF.

How do I prepare for a full-service consultation?

In order to accurately quote your full-service package, we need to know some pertinent details of the wedding. Knowing these items prior to the call will help in creating that proposal: 

  • Event Date
  • Event Budget
  • Formality Level
  • Approximate Guest List
  • Personal Style 
  • Client Involvement Level

how do i prepare for a floral consultation?

Floral design quote is based on a number of variables, so the best way for us to give you a proposal is to know as many details as possible upfront: 

  • Wedding/event style and overall tones and color palette 
  • Number of personals (bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, etc.)  
  • Number of centerpieces 
  • Type or style of altar arrangement (arch, urns, freestanding, etc.) 
  • Other decorative pieces 
  • Other event pieces (rehearsal dinner, welcome brunch, etc.) 

Do you offer day-of coordination?

Our alternate offering is Event Management. Here you will start “uploading” your wedding brain to your coordinator around the 60-day mark. From here we can follow up with your vendors and double check that everything aligns logistically. From there, we make professional suggestions about photography timelines, rain plans, layouts and special concessions. 

Please know that this service may not be retained more than six months in advance and requires that you have booked Meg Owen Events for floral services. 

Do you offer private event planning? 

The planning of other events (kids birthday parties, anniversaries, etc.) is a service we no longer offer so we can give our time and attention to full service, floral design and corporate clients. There are other great industry professionals in the OKC metro to help bring these visions to life.
